SOLICITING BAIL AGENTS


We are seeking SOLICITING BAIL AGENTS go to jails and police departments in order to secure the release of people accused of committing a crime.

In order to qualify to be a bail agent, you must complete the 40 pre license education course at one of the Mississippi Department of Insurance approved education providers.

We do offer the required education course but you may take the course from any provider approved by the DOI. For information contact us

Bail bonding is a very competitive field and requires someone with drive and ambition.

Military veterans welcome.

To be a bail agent you must be proficient in or able to learn how to:

Use computer programs and internet based programs.

Have clear handwriting and communication skills.

Be self motivated and work unsupervised for the majority of the time.

Communicate with people that are in jail trying to bond out.

Determine whether or not an person in jail is a substantial flight risk or risk to other people. (We do not bond everyone that calls).

Call and speak to the person's family and friends in order to make financial and other arrangements for their release.

Keep track of clients that the agent has bonded until they have completed court.

Notify clients of upcoming court dates and changes.

Appear in court with and/or on behalf of clients.

Be willing to locate people for the purposes of taking them back to jail when necessary. (AKA Bounty Hunt)

Compensation:

Agents are self employed and work on a commission basis.  The agent that goes to the jail and writes the bond makes a percentage of the money collected. Percentages are determined based on the amount of experience or the amount of general knowledge the agent has. The percentage amount raises fairly quickly based on how quickly the agent learns the job and learns how to determine risk.

Requirements:

Agents must have their own cellphone

Agents must have a phone or device that allows them access to the internet at all times

Agents must have reliable transportation and possess a valid drivers license

Agents must be at least 21 years of age

Agents must be drug free
